From the perspective of an experienced CS2D Mapper, my personal opinion is that none of those 5 maps are very good. I admire your use of custom tiles in the maps, but the maps' layouts and technical details are very, very lacking in professionalism and appearance. The maps have very little or no sprites, sound effects, graphic effects, and detail. A few of your new custom tiles are admirable, but their use in the maps along with the unsuiting layouts causes the overall appearance of the maps to be extremely plain and boring. I do not mean to heavily put you down, but I am trying to critically comment on how the maps could be improved greatly. For a new improved CS2D we need extremely high-quality, well made maps, not more maps of the same low-quality as current CS2D official maps. Please, however, continue mapping if you wish and attempt to increase your ability to create better and better maps. My first maps were very bad compared to my latest, profession alized maps built with careful consideration and attention to detail. If you need some inspiration and comparison to study for how a great map should be, read my previous thread "New CS2D & Maps" on this website. Thank you for working to submit some CS2D maps, but I personally do not find them to be as good as they could be.
I think you need to add more sprites, sounds and stuff. And i think it would have been better for you just to take the old tiles, add your own modifications and save them in a different name. I realy liked fy_pool_day, but there are werry little weapons...I use the original tiles on my maps and they are good.
P.S.- the police cars should be seen more from the top and not from the sides.
...srry for any bad spelling...
