but I can't play the adventure mode, it takes hours loading the infos at 90% and then it says forest mod is not working anymore

I gave up on your mod because I couldn't stand the music repeating itself over and over... Especially in the mafia camp where I spent a long time trying to find the 5 guards.


Don't get me wrong... I like metal but entering a native village or a pirate jetty with black metal playing in the background just doesn't... fit.

I put those musics because it's hard to find good ambience musics and I'll remove the musics and put them separetly in a special pack, so who want can have it and who doesn't want can just stay with the normal story.

And the music isn't black metal. There's only thrash metal, groovy metal, nu-metal, classic heavy metal, new metal and some emocore (no, I'm not emo).

While I don't release the update you can remove the songs by yourself they're located in the folder: "mods\forest mod\maps\ultimate\sounds" just delet everything and it'll work

but right now i'm out of ideas on what to model so I will take requests but will only work on them after I finish the beta of my mod. anyhow nothing too complicated (human, anything animated) as I am still a I could make things like a stove, house, etc

Edited: New agressive native (no more the red agressive native, now it'll have it own skin) the credits for it go all to Corvallis5 that helped me a lot with this.
Edited: As I said you'll need to download the songs pack for the story mode separated from the mod folder.

Edited: Now I'll be adding mines on the story mode so you'll be able to find minerals on the story, if you can handle with the creatures that live in the mine .

Edited: The story mode will be less lagy as I'll remove some infos that are unnecessary just like spawn infos.

Edited: Now the traders on the story mod will sell and buy more stuffs.

Added: Some of you can not know, but there are secrets treasures on the story map (in some of them you must dig to find) I'll add an event to show the location of the treasures, but I need an idea of what event will be that.

Fixed: Bug when you drink holding an weapon or a tool your hands got empty.

Fixed: Some times when you sleep you got 4 hands instead of 2.

Edited: The skills will be improved faster, because it's very boring to increase the skills in the original game.

If some of you can help me, please don't be shy, every idea will be well accepted.
Tell me all your ideas!!

And, did someone finished the story mode? If yes say here what did you think of it.

I just want to know your opinion, what you think that should be added or what you think that should be edited or removed, I want to hear you!!!

I'm changing the crosshair in almost all the weapons, but you can only find this modification in my computer right now. Don't worry, I have a document here in my computer with the name of everyone that helped me and when I release the new version of the mod I'll edit the post.

Well guys, as it seems there's no way to fix the script that make arrows and stuff stay on objects when they're casted without edit the game's source code. I have the following bugs with this script:

× When you destroy an object all the arrows stucked on it will stay in the air (it probably can be fixed with a lot of work).
× If you cast the arrow and quickly look for the other side the arrow won't stay correctly.
× If you cast your last arrow the script will just not work.
× If you hit two objects at the same time the script won't work.
× If you cast a spear for the sky and you got to find where did it fall you'll find it completely wrong.

Do you think I should learn editing the game's source code (I don't have much time for this so it'll delay the release of the mod a lot), I should keep this with all these bugs or I should remove it all?

The hands bug is already fixed in the new version, I'm just waiting for some help from Mc Leaf to fix the arrows and spear script and then I'll start the test phase.

If someone want to help me testing the mod send me a pm and when I finish the spear stuff I'll send you the mod.

About the files missing problem run the game with the .bat, if it doesn't work run with the stranded.exe.

Edited: Well, as it seems there's no way to fix the arrow stay script without editing the game's source code. I don't have enough time to start learning editing the source code and
Mc Leaf is too busy to help me. So what's your opinion, should I keep the bugged script or should I remove it?

Make sure that the strandedII.exe from the the download is the one you're using, if you're using the strandedII.exe from the original game you won't get the mod working.

I'm still working on this mod. I would already release the new version but I need to remake the entire new story mode as I need to separete all the three islands and I'm very lazy to do that (I hate working on maps) and I'm a little busy at school. I fixed some bugs, edited some stuff and added some other. I'll be uploading some videos probably today so you can see how it's going.
