I remembered someone before you saying that, it would be a good idea and might as well be more realistic. Least it's not just a circle with a black screen. EpicCrisis has written

In older versions, there was no scope, it would just magnify. I believe DC has a good reason for adding a scope. Well its up to him in the end, but it would probably help the player ratings and increase the players of CS2D if he makes more options and more customiseable. I personally think he is trying to keep everything original, with the game based mostly on what he comes up with. I can appreciate that but seriously, everyone has thought up mostly anything possible, and only 1/10000 of all of them have actually down something with their idea. DC wanted to make a game so he made it, wanted a website, he made it. If there is 1 thing I have learned that is, "You can not do anything but breathe if you decide to become lazy". I have been practicing skinning and making other graphics, I upload for others to enjoy. If they leave with negative comments, I say let them. They have their own opinion like the rest of us. But I just ignore their comments, but do some of them hurt? Yes, but I do not tell them that, I have learned if you are being insulted, do not tell them what words they are saying that hurt you. If you do they will only exploit it to hurt you more. And bullies is what they are, they choose to hurt others to make their self feel better and impress others. It will never stop, no matter what happens. There is going to be someone with low self estime, and will find out he can temporaily make himself feel better by hurting or insulting others. This can cause the victim to feel self conscious and depressed. It does so much to the victim. A bully could literally ruin the life of the person. Like lots of creators, like Bill Gates, Steve Job, and many more. They may have once been bullied, but after their determination and hard work of studying and learning more they had made millions and have continued on with a succesful life. With the bullies on the other hand, have probably continued to bully and become jerks. So that has become a reflex for them. So they probably found something they could do to complicate the lifes of other by becoming some type of cop or some person to that is allowed to give away tickets. Tickets are a very annoying and stresful thing to deal with. Most common are the vehicle tickets, usually for speeding. It is a job the cop can do. Sometimes they will just randomly chose someone who did some type of illegal turn or something. Everytime there is multiple illegal moves done in vehicles they get to chose whoever they want to pull over for a ticket. And that is a small portion of life. So back the game, DC is with a beta of CS2D. Hmm, im curious of how long he will continue to work on CS2D. And will he go to work on a different game one with some high income. Who knows? But I have noticed that out of most the games, they have some sort of virtual income to the player. Something that sets goals for the player. It makes them want to continue and further on to reaching those goals, with something like a acheivement. Some games Have a global ranking system for the gamers, so they can allow themselves to find out who the best player is. Or there are some missions for the player like in Call of Duty, you have a marathon perk. You have to unlock it, but once you do you can have it increase it by doing some movements or other stuff relatingto it so you could unlock Marathon Pro. Some games use virtual money that has no real life value to it, but in the game it allows you to purchase equipment, clothes, weapon, and other stuff. That could help, improve, or some other type of form of enhancement. Maybe even just to make the player look different. Another common is experience, lets them unlock, or gain, or earn some sort of reward for their hard work for playing the game. Makes the player feel better about him/herslef as having knowledge of their own self acheiving success. I would like to see something of this sort in CS2D. I truely hope DC creates some type of global playerbase system into CS2D, and players will be able to enable or disable it when they start a new game, this would allow every script made to still operate or add-on to the global playerbase system(G.P.S.). I know this would revolutionize CS2D big time, with increasing the playerbase attracting more players than before. And will continue on for quite some time. Well that is my plan I have came up with, I thoroughly await to read DC's response. Admin/mod comment
Im not sure why anyone would read this unformatted pile of words. Scroll down please. /Leiche Oh my God, please shorten this. edited 2×, last 15.07.12 08:06:22 pm
Okay I read that long fucker, had to use my finger to follow the lines sometimes but it comes down to this.
Don't give info to bullies they will just exploit it. Nerds have a chance of a better life. DC should consider adding perks. And I have no life for just reading that. DC Admin Offline
Global rankings or ladders are not a new idea but there are too many assholes (cheaters, hackers, idiots) in CS2D that will do everything to completely destroy and fuck up everything that goes into that direction. This would lead to infinite shitstorms and trouble and I don't want to deal with this crap. Sorry.
There are so many awesome things that could be done but there are also so many assholes that simply want to destroy everything I do.
So things like that would require servers hosted by Unreal Software and observed by admins 24/7 to kickban hackers to make sure that nobody tricks the system. This is something which can not be realized. @ SkullzOrig: It would be best if global rankings and ladders are added in other communities (Or clans) as this one doesn't fully rotate around the CS2D scene. Plus it's mere a forum for help and idea's, there are not even servers here.
It's not like you need US.de to do this, you can easily do it yourself provided you have your own server(s) and site. In fact you would only need your own site, you could offer clans and communities (Which have their own server(s)) and the whole system would go to your site. edited 1×, last 15.07.12 08:21:20 pm
How about

EDIT, @ krabob: Yes, it would be great!!! krabob has written

Movetile, return x y. Then use reqcld to return player info such as cursor position. @ Yates: You might have misunderstood..I meant "direction" as a new parameter
edit: reqcld wouldn't get you the direction a player is moving.. - Remove this post.
@ krabob: There is probably a dirty fix, I thought I had one but I was wrong. Avo User Offline
I would like to see new cmd command "setdir <id> <direction>" . It would be possible to rotate player. krabob has written

That'd be weird because it'd have to change where that player's pointer is
edit: @ Alistaire: Doesn't rotation return what direction a player is facing and not walking to? Avo User Offline
@ krabob:
No problem.
You give me better idea: "movepointer <id> <x> <y>"
where <x> & <y> is position on HUD. Avo has written

There's no use for such functions. Avo User Offline
You can rotate bot, right? But players not. I think some scripters will find ways to use "setdir"/"movepointer"
