Like the entity info_radaricon (id 81) for lua.
Example:
radaricon(x,y,1,255000000)
Create a red dot (1) in minimap in position X | Y.

I suggest the same as above (just not that syntax) along with a command to update (change sprite and position without tween effect), remove and move that icon.
10/10 would be awesome.

Via: Join hook does not work!
Add an additional parameter to the join hook which tells us if the join is triggered on connection or a completed join (game initialized, player sees everything).
Edit 2:
Just realized this would call twice and break current code if it is not adapted to call once on whatever their choice. So a hook on join completion would be best.

Advanced radar must dont render deadly tile because it will notice new players what the tile type.
Same for tile type like water.
'bout radar - make the same FOW for radar(tiles) like on player's eyes if FOW is enabled(or via options(as server)

Offline Gaming with and versus intelligent Bots
You must be joking , those bots sucks and you need to make them more smart and clever (exaples : bots attack turrets , bots answer radio orders like in cs1.6 , bots can chat in case after frag or death it say something nice or bad , bots walk all over the map instead of BotNode , bots can build , bots plant laser mines and mines)

Suggestions:
Make flags icons blink when the flags carried.
In 800*600 game resolution, texts scaled as from 640*480 game resolution which make them looks blurry. Change it so texts not looks blurry.

The reason that's the old ID Color is not clear to see

they are pointing you directly when FOW is disabled, so when you outside the wall he prepare to attack you. The new bots are moving simply and you can shot them before they rotate to you, but they'll insanely fast point you like aimbot when you moving(and still point 100% directly untill you stop to move).
they are taking the better weapons from the floor or just swipe them.
i notice when the bot is attacking you and going outside the borders - still do some hits(that's would be nice btw)
Bots are primary element of the CS2D , and @ Mora: BTW! what you sayed is wrong because that's not smart or clever abilaty in bots , read what i write up ^^^^
