@ sonkii: it can be done by Lua, like Waldin said, and what? It's already in game, is that script running out of the game? I apologize if I misunderstanding.
@ sonkii: really, stop posting useless idea, it can be done by Lua, post useful ideas, and explain what it needs / reason for, don't say you have 1 or 2 explanation / reason for that idea. At least, good ideas has 5 reason to do it.
Also, you post too much idea, you could answer suggestion and response about your old idea, you just ignored them as well by creating new idea, lol what?
Well, you might to know at least basics of Lua, and back here posting idea after you have some knowledge.
*Ahem*
Dont you notice this is for Map and ENV_Hurt?Aand idk what are you talking about, and i dont call any ideas are sh*t and useless.*cough*
And thanks for reminding me to create 5 or 3 reason to post an useless ideas.
Now the reason is
Most mappers can script lua, while the other not.
I like to see an option (map editor that env_hurt) for it,none ones cares about dis entity.
Useful if campers camps their enemies spawn.(which is bad)
Many users (include you) has experience of mapping. But not all ppl know script.
And i know scripting.
Yes many mappers like me are too lazy to create a lua script for such a small task like that, so it would be nice if the
env_hurt
could've hurt only a certain team.
Now look the fact you can make something with lua doesn't mean you should! If I want to upload my map do I really have to add a .lua file only for a small task like this?
I'm just saying that if it can be made doesn't mean it shouldn't be built in.
Make the env_hurt can hurt some teams for example,if a ct goes to env_hurt area, his health not decreased but t will hurt.
I second this.
@everyone discussing this matter:
It's a simple change to an entity which can be valuable for everyone and not a single person. Thus it is a reason for "this can be done with Lua" to not apply here.
Like Mami Tomoe said, not everything that can be done with Lua has to be done with Lua.
*Ahem*you mean that greeny (smoke like) thing, just reskin that nightvision screen.I saw a nightvision screen without those particels on gamebanana.
That greeny things are just shaders (or any).Just recolor the nightvision.bmp (or sth like that) to white.
