@ mrc:
Quick play already takes latency into account but the sorting could be optimized (players currently have higher priority in some cases). Will do so. I don't think that completely removing this feature is the best idea.
Sorting servers by latency and not by players by default would make people join empty servers (assuming that they are as dumb as you're saying) - which is an even worse experience than playing on a server with high latency.
Regarding Discord: I simply don't have the time to organize that. Sorry.
Another suggestion would be to remove the text that shows that someone left the server, this causes the herd behaviour, when one leaves, several go after it. It's a fact.
Changing filtering mode of an image to use nearest filterting to preserve sharp edges. This could be global, per-map tiles, per-entity, or even per lua-scripted image.
Filter might be enabled/toggled in the Graphics options and maybe as server setting (same as hud scale? Maybe). In cases when it 0 in the server - it might use Your value. Also it should be 0 by standard and in options checkbox might be turned off.
In cases people using 4:3 gameplay ratio I can't say, but if You use it - the images/tileset looks like some pixels is missing and became unrecognisable
