Stranded II Mods Surviving in The SuvivalistSurviving in The Suvivalist

I designed this mod to make every new map a unique experience. Every game will be different then the last. Compare what resources are near you at the start, and see what you can craft in the diary that would help you survive.
1 vine + 2 branch = Splint Fracture
blue blossom + use = Stop Bleeding
check the Diary or game guide for more options in medical.
Pretend it is real. Would you really do that on your 1st day? Confront a hostile claw monkey or native at first sight with a stone knife, or run like hell? Swim in the ocean with hostile parana and shark to get the turtle? Or get drinkable water and some food in a safer manner? What would you "really" do?... given the information in the Diary about your situation and whats available.
101 ways to live and 101 ways to die....pretty in depth...and hopefully the fun of the game.
The best tip i can give you is this:
From the moment you start, utilize PAUSE GAME between your actions...so you do not waste the hours and minutes standing there doing nothing. Your "bars" move up as every hour passes even if your standing still. So hit pause and think about your next move, or check the Diary for what you can make, with what is around you. Lastly...when you make good progress SAVE your game, in case you fail, so you can reload it and continue. Figure out what works for you and what don't. Know that you failed the game by dieing but keep going until you succeed...then START A NEW GAME AND TRY NOT TO DIE EVEN ONCE.

I got some pretty good survivalist experience from the first Survivalist update. But the claw monkeys and natives make the beginning WAY HARDER than before. Plus since I do start with a bottle, getting water is kinda impossible. Food is hard especially when natives and monkeys attacking you every second. Its still a brilliant mod. Play on easy or normal mode until you learn the "combinations", or print the "Printable Guide" in the main folder so you have them easily accessible. Or study the Diary/Crafting ingame.

then:
Find clay first and beat 4 pieces out of it, then beat any "vine tree" for 30 leaves and 15 vines, you will have branches then too to craft a knife with a stone, and bark to make a fire or eat the insects out of it(bark+use)...then make 2 bottle with clay+knife, and craft 2 water with leaf+stone and vine+stone.
= 2 bottles of water
pick edibles along the way, then do it over again before your thirst is blinking...then get more food and start buildings.
then repeat until you can get to work on "skills". On hard mode you may have to survive off slime from snails and bugs for a while.
if you see a sheep get 2-4 extra clay and make 2 bottles for milk your 1st few days. If you see a coconut tree camp there during the start and get spawning coconuts/milk.
after a couple days of struggle should be able to progress more comfortably if you utilize, and be efficient, and specialize in having extra to consume, to perform a bigger task...like building something, or fishing 1 day, or mining for a few hours...etc.
EDIT: On the small maps/hard mode you could also start out making stone+bamboo=bamboo spears and take out the hostiles right away...because the map is so small they always "see" you and hunt you. They would give loot too, especially the native who carry a health potion, or lion/clawmonkey for meat/skins.
