This is the Cast Away Mod which I already introduced in this thread:

This file always includes the newest patches so you only need to download this one file.

> If you however do not want to download the whole file anew each update (since the size is kind of large already), there'll be separate patches in the above mentioned thread under •"Previous versions"•.
All you have to do then is to move the included files of the patch into the mod folder and maybe confirm a Windows dialogue to replace the old files.

There are over 60 new food items in this mod.
Unfortunately I abandoned the development of this mod quite some time ago so many plants and a system that lets them grow various fruits did not make it into this version, sorry.

Does the mod include all the new food items? Like the fish and fruits? and can you grow them or do they regenerate?

@user arya: there is no previous version for the english version of this mod.

and if you are talking about the german version, those got deleted during a hardware crash at the hoster where I uploaded them.

still I dont know why you'd want to have an older version since the newest version has had the most bugs fixed and the most stuff implemented compared to the older ones.

as I wrote in the thread I deactived the chess for the current version because I made some huge improvements to the code but it's still not quite working right.

and I know that it's a little dull to play chess by yourself but I think at least I learnt something useful by scripting it so far in case I'll ever want to remake this mod for Stranded 3 when it comes out (and then has multiplayer in it).


also, there is neither an adventure so far nor are there horses.

I don't feel that the chess has any sense. Maybe in multiplayer mode or to attach some library from outside. Anyway, did you put in all the rules, like en passant and castling? (last time this part was full of bugs)
The buildings are nice.
And the adventure? The last time (d version, I think) always wanted to tame the horse, it didn't let me play...
