Here is my totally revised, revamped, and redone version of my old mod, it adds lots of new units, many more items, a quite a few new objects. It also has an Arctic Map, with a cool storyline, something that I'm very proud of. For anybody who played my first mod, I'm sorry that I released it way to early without really finising anything, that was more of a 'preview', this version is A LOT better, again sorry about that

I also use Lion_Hearted's mod as my base.

Major Changes
Forging, to use stones and metals
Water cannot be drank from at watersources or wells and such. You must take it in a bottle (bamboo, clay, or glass bottles are avalible) and boil & filter it over a fire using a pot. to get the pot you must trade with a Human. Also I used V666's script so that NPC's arrive on your island depending on what you have in your rucksack, so you could have all the traders on your island at once!
Cows & Chickens provide milk and eggs, eggs are used in some complicated recipies. Cows & Chickens can be acquired from the farmer.
Also butter can be made from leaving a bottle of milk in a barrel overnight, butter is used in most "good" recipes.

Things to know
Meat will not rot in chests
There are 2 kinds of forges, on for iron, gold, and stone, and the other (locked until you get some skill or something (havent decided))one is for everything else namely obsidian and hessonite. Steel, Obsidian, Hessonite are in the works for forging.

hands? when did I say that? you cant do that without touching the source, but there are tons of new units (see changelog) items and objects. But im most proud of the story mode (see screenshots).

I think the best part is the Arctic story mode!
some things I expect in the future of this mod (probably not in the next release):
A cold/hot bar, how cold you are...Dont let it get to high!!
An eat skill, blocks raw and rotten meat till you get some skill maybe mushrooms too, unless you fry them, yes there are fried mushrooms.
Finish the crafting skill
more of everything!

Well, these changes have already been done in the Source Code you're using Stranded 2.5 is a good example for this.

Well, these changes have already been done in the Source Code you're using Stranded 2.5 is a good example for this.


Yeah but I don't the time or the modeling skillls to do that.

Also Im wondering if you could explain in some depth how to add a new state bar (like hunger thirst fatigue) I've heard that you can do that with the new source code

edit: I just deleted a few units with bad animations/models, only two of them though, the white naative and the ninja

yeah I just put it them ai_stay and the trees got f*cked up when I took the screenshot (im using the print screen button)

edit: I need modeling help, if you want to help make an arctic related model (though this is not an Arctic mod, it just has an Arctic story line) also any animated model will be great (arctic or not)

okay, this is my first mod and I DO have permission for everything I used. That was extremely negative feedback
and about all of the things you said were wrong and without any knowledge (you havent tested this). i take no shame in taking things from other mods as long as I have permission becuase I feel that taking the best things from every mod and making one (maybe) better one is a good idea.

And about you being wrong, the crafting skill does not lock up much, there are many more weapons and many more items of food the forging script is messed up so it takes one click to get from iron to soft iron and such.
The game runs very smooth and does not crash at all

and if you dont like it, just dont shove it in my face without knowing anything, at least Im trying to make a mod instead of bitching about other people's like you

edit: @yamaxandu if you were talking about my old mod, that was an extremeley buggy release, i myself said that it was not playalble thats why i created a new thread.
You cant even get clean water in that! That was more of a preview, still when you arent doing anything yourself there's no reason to be such a jerk

Your Mod idea sounds fantastic. The animals are beautiful, especially the rabbit! You should not let anyone discourage you. I would be more than delighted just to have the additional animals in the game. I hope you get it right soon! I'd love to play it. =D

thank you so much, I glad to have some posative feedback after Yamaxandu's comment, but he/she is always like that
I just need to finish the story mode and make some patches to finish the beta
