Servers my server is in serverlist but not all can see it
my server is in serverlist but not all can see it
5 replies When I host my server using cs2d_dedicated, it does not appear to everyone! I can see it in cs2d serverlist on browser, some people join it from time to time, but some other does not see it.
I'm using my own pc to host the server, and I knew they can't see it because they told me when I asked them to join...
Anyone knows why? and does that have anything to do with there ping? I mean... It may appear to them but because of there bad ping it takes little longer 
However, If anyone has solution, advise, or anything useful... I'd be thankful if you told me.

My server IP: 192.168.1.107:36963 I'd consult with the ISP.
I suppose they're blocked by either your fire wall (which is unlikely because you claim that some people can see it) or by the ISP (which is the most likely scenario).
Have you considered port forwarding? @
Mami Tomoe: what is port forwarding? is it some kind of paid service?
edit: excuse me if im dumb or if i have huge ignorant about some "technology" things... i just want to host server for people to play and im not very into these things, so there is a lot of things i may not be knowing

U said people joins from time to time, so thats not a problem on server side. And the IP that u gave isnt ur real IP, thats why ur friends cant connect using it. DC Admin Offline
You can get your real internet IP from pages like https://www.whatismyip.com/
192.168.X.X is always a LAN IP which only works within the same local network. It won't work when other people try to use it over the internet.

In almost all cases these problems are caused by bad firewall settings and/or missing port forwarding in the router.
