Following the thread news DNS Server Changes I will move some websites including UnrealSoftware.de and CS2D.com as well as the U.S.G.N. service to another server.

This will happen within the next 10 days. Some websites and the U.S.G.N. may not be available for some time in this time frame.

You will still be able to play CS2D online but the server list and the U.S.G.N. account login will be unavailable temporarily.

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience!

The move includes DNS changes which can take up to 48 hours (= downtime can be that long)! ∗

U.S.G.N. problems?
The U.S.G.N. should automatically update itself. If you have issues logging in, please check sys/usgn.dat in your CS2D folder. Make sure that the first line looks like this:
81.169.236.243|usgn.de

If it doesn't look like this please quit CS2D, edit the file and start CS2D again.

For the Wikis there's no schedule yet. They will probably be unavailable for a few days.

CS2D has a fallback server list which consists of servers cached in previous play sessions. That way active players will still see servers in their list even without a working U.S.G.N.

If you want to make sure that you can keep playing just add a few servers to your favorites

All servers, I've checked that the usgn.dat file was updated, I've also checked it on servers I host on my VPS, nothing works.

I also get like 2 servers on the server list.

Also I had to re-write the U.S.G.N. and I can see that there are in fact still some major issues.

Will fix those as soon as I can.

There's an issue with IP conversion which breaks the login check feature and also parts of the server list for some IPs. Only certain IPs are affected which is why I didn't notice it when testing.

Sorry for the trouble.

Could you please try to do the same thing again?

Only problem left is that servers don't automatically update to the new USGN IP.

@user DC: Alright finally I have HTTPS, but here are some issues.

1. jQuery 1.6 fails to load because the src is http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6/jquery.min.js (non-HTTPS) and Firefox prevents it from being loaded. This cause numerous site issues and the one I noticed so far are: no users when typing "@" on reply, the cooldown for posting didn't count down, and no user tooltip. I'd sure the site script actually breaks at this point.
2. Clicking the "Unreal Software" banner redirects to non-HTTPS site even when the site is visited with HTTPS. Maybe it can be solved by using 
<a href="/">...</a>
there.
3. The website icon still points to http://www.unrealsoftware.de/favicon.ico (non-HTTPS)

Other than that, the HTTPS is usable.

EDIT: Ok CS2D server version checking seems failed, but USGN login in-game seems working. USGN verification fails tho.

The login verification problem is probably a bit more complicated. Will try to fix it as soon as I have time for it.

For the login problem, please take your time. I'm very thankful for the HTTPS in the first place.
